ARE YOU BLIND, OR… DID YOU JUST MISS IT?

This landed up being a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ experience for Bluetones fans going along to see them in Perth earlier this year. Apparently on the day of the gig, all the posters somehow managed to completely vanish!
The band landed up never seeing them, which, for us, kind of defeated the purpose of doing them in the first place… However, we did take this gesture of mass-theft as a compliment on (we must say) some rather nice design work!
FUEL BRANDS

When you have a logo to do for a company called Fuel, what else can you do? We jumped at the opportunity to create a range of stationery and get down and dirty with a big red petrol container to make this gritty but slick identity.
The stationery used a large full colour image of the fuel can covered in double hit layer of spot gloss varnish to make it pop off the paper, while the simple type was printed only in the same varnish to make it clear on the page. Although undertaken in our early days, this still remains one of our favourite identity projects that we’ve undertaken… EVER!
LITTLE STARS

This was a logo for a small chain of Children’s day nurseries, which was done with fairly strict budgetary constraints. We combined playful type with bright colouring to convey the fun and approachable identity the owners were keen to portray.
